Need help with your resume? We have several options depending on the level of assistance you need. Please review options below.
Jobspeaker Resume Builder
Access Jobspeaker via the MyChaffey portal
How to build your resume:
1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click on the Profiles tab
3. Complete each applicable section on the profile. The more information you enter
on your profile, the more information will be downloaded/exported on your resume
4. Click on Print Resume
5.You will be then prompted to choose from the following 7 Resume Templates: Original,
Centered, Traditional, Education Inverse, With Certifications, Metrics and
Contemporary
6. Click on the template you would like to download
7. Once you select the template, click on drop down bar and choose the Document Format:
PDF or
DOCX (Word Doc). We recommend DOCX for easier editing
8. Click Print and your resume will be downloaded to your computer and also saved in your Jobspeaker

Appointments for Resume Review
Schedule an online counseling appointment with a career counselor.
Items to have available for online appointment:
- Job description for the position you are seeking
- Electronic copy of your résumé on a flash drive or in email
Resume Review/Feedback via E-mail
Email your résumé to careercenter@chaffey.edu and a Career Center professional will review your résumé and reply with feedback.
Resume Writing Packet
Just getting started? Start with the Resume Writing Packet. The Resume Writing Packet provides information to help you get started with writing your resume
- Complete the Résumé Writing Packet before scheduling an appointment
- Start by typing all the information you would like to include in your resume on a blank Word document
- Save an electronic copy of your résumé draft
- Send your resume draft for review to careercenter@chaffey.edu or schedule an online counseling appointment for further assistance
Interview Preparation
Big Interview is a mock interview training system that features a new and innovative way to help you prepare more effectively for a job interview. This online system combines training AND practice to help improve your interview technique and build your confidence.
Big Interview offers a variety of tools including:
- Mock interview practice and recording tool
- Written and video curriculum covering the entire job search and interview process
- Mechanism for sharing videos externally/internally for feedback
- Ability to customize/record questions and question sets
- Resume builder tool
