Yes. However, priority will be given to applicants that have all courses completed prior to applying.
Submit your official transcripts from your college/university to Admissions & Records and arrange an appointment with a Chaffey College Counselor to assist you with an equivalency check.
Applicants that meet the minimum requirements will be randomly selected for the program.
The PTA program accepts 24 new students annually to start every summer term.
The PTA program does not utilize a waitlist.
The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) administers the NPTE-PTA exam four times a year, in January, April, July, and October. Eligibility for the exam is limited to graduates from accredited programs. Upon approval from CAPTE, the inaugural cohort for our program is set to commence in May 2024 and graduate in May 2025, which means that the first exam opportunity for our students would be in July 2025.
