Expectations for all appointments

Appointments and interactions with Career Counselors are intended for educational purposes only. To ensure that we are engaging in a safe, secure, and respectful atmosphere with students, a counselor can end a counseling session at their professional discretion if a student is being disrespectful, inappropriate, or does not have proper online etiquette during virtual interactions.

Scheduling a Counseling Appointment

Counseling appointments are scheduled in ConexEd. If you are a Chaffey College student, please select the Chaffey icon button and use your Chaffey Portal Login credentials. If you are not a Chaffey student, you can create a guest account by clicking on Guest Registration and creating an account.

When making an appointment be sure to select the correct meeting location desired.

MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory Career Assessments

These assessments link your personality preferences and interests to career options in more depth than Focus2Career. The MBTI or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator explores your preference for where you get energy, how you take in information, how you make decisions and how you approach life - it links these preferences to specific career titles that best match your personality type.  The Strong Interest Inventory matches your interests to career and educational areas.
To take the MBTI/Strong assessments:

My Next Move
