You can access additional data dashboards, reports, and organization websites to gain a deeper understanding of student achievement and support informed decision-making within the educational community.
Chancellor's Office Data
Data Mart is an online tool provided by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office that offers public access to data about California’s 116 community colleges. Using college-submitted management information system (MIS) data, it includes information about students, courses, student services, outcomes and faculty and staff. Data Mart is designed for a wide range of users and supports transparency, accountability, and data-informed decision-making.
DataVista is a data visualization platform developed by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to provide easy-to-use, interactive dashboards on key systemwide metrics. DataVista is designed to inspire a greater understanding of student achievement, build understanding about student outcomes and provide information to support evidence-based decision making at schools, colleges and within the state. DataVista provide several reports tracking progress on Vision 2030: A Roadmap for California Community Colleges.
Employment Data
The Centers for Excellence produces reports and tools that provide a real-time picture of the regional and statewide labor market, where it is headed, and what programs and training are needed to meet future workforce demand. The Centers research helps community colleges tailor their programs to support local and statewide workforce demand. Their work can also be applied to educational policy, faculty professional development, and work-based learning opportunities for students.
The CTE Employment Outcomes Survey (CTEOS) is a statewide study to assess employment outcomes of students who have participated in career technical education (CTE) coursework at a California Community College. The CTEOS is administered annually by Santa Rosa Junior College and supports several systemwide initiatives including the Strong Workforce Program. UC and CSU Transfer Data
The New Enrollment dashboard, developed by the UC System, contains information about transfer admissions across the UC’s nine undergraduate campuses. You can search for Chaffey College and examine how many Chaffey students are transferring to UC campuses each fall semester.
The California State University (CSU) Transfer Dashboard displays admissions and enrollment data for new undergraduates, including community college transfers. Transfer data pertaining to Chaffey College can be found on the “Undergraduate Transfers” tab and filtering for "Chaffey Community College, Rancho Cucamonga" in the "Institution of Origin Name" dropdown menu.
Other Organizations
The RP Group is a non-profit organization that supports California Community Colleges in improving student outcomes through research, evaluation, and professional development. It brings together institutional researchers, planners, and other practitioners to build capacity for using data to advance student success. The RP Group also hosts a myriad of webinars and workshops, conducts applied research, and hosts events like the Strengthening Student Success Conference.
