Services:

Academic counseling
Priority Registration
Personal and professional development workshops
Semester start up Gas Card and educational supplies
Assistance with college-related fees (e.g., student representation fee, college services fee, etc.)
Transportation support (e.g., transportation fee, etc.)

Transportation fee	$8 or $9 ($8 if registered in less than 6 units, $9 if registered in 6 units or more)
Phi Theta Kappa (for eligible students)	$85

CalWORKs does not cover the Health Fee.

CalWORKs will not be providing Parking Permits for Spring 2026.

Complete CalWORKs Spring 2026 Paperwork Appointment with a CalWORKs Counselor and Release Forms
Complete mid-term Progress Review Appointment with a CalWORKs Counselor

Activity Incentive: To qualify for an additional $25 on Direct Aid check, students can complete one of the following activities:

Attend one Workshop from either: CalWORKs, CARE, CalWORKs/CARE Collaborative, Success Center, Career Center, Social Wellness & Behavioral Support or EOPS
Attend one 30 minutes or more Tutoring Session at the Success Center

Students have access to Start Up benefits upon completion of:

Paid or reimbursed by early June 2026 (subject to change)

Distributed in phases between mid April 2026 and mid May 2026, contingent on requirement completion. This timeframe of delivery is subject to change.

All services are subject to the availability of program funding.
