Services:

• Academic counseling
• Priority Registration
• Assistance with college-related fees (e.g., student representation fee, college services fee, etc.)

 

Financial Support Provided by CalWORKs for Summer 2025

Transportation fee	$5 or $6 ($5 if registered in less than 6 units, $9 if registered in 6 units or more)
Phi Theta Kappa (for eligible students)	$85
Psi Beta (for eligible students)	$50

* Amount contingent upon available program funds   

CalWORKs does not cover the Health Fee.

CalWORKs will not be providing Parking Permits for Summer 2025.

Requirements for the Direct Aid Grant:

Onboarding:

• Be enrolled in courses for Summer 2025
• Complete the Summer 2025 Intake or Update Form
• Submit Verification of Benefits

 

Counseling Appointments:

• Complete CalWORKs Summer 2025 Paperwork Appointment with a CalWORKs Counselor and Release Forms.

 

When are Benefits Distributed?

Student Fees for Summer 2025

Paid or reimbursed by August 8th, 2025 (subject to change)

Direct Aid Grant for Summer 2025

Released by August 8th, 2025 (subject to change). Disbursements will begin in phases between June 28^th and August 8^th, contingent on requirement completion. This timeframe of delivery is subject to change.
