Mike Villegas is a Vice President at SafeworkCM leading the Education and Municipal Market Sectors. Mike began his career working as a builder which provided a solid foundation for construction best practices and strategies. Mike is an active member in CMAA and DBIA, receiving the honor of SoCal CMAA CCM of the year. Mike has a passion for continuing his ongoing education and most recently completed the CASH Leadership Academy. Michael brings more than two decades of professional experience working in the construction services industry. He has led and managed numerous K-12 school bond programs, community college bond programs, public work projects, healthcare and California Department of General Services projects. His experience working with a general contractor has provided him with a solid technical foundation and insight into construction operations and best practices. This foundation has promoted his strengths of effective communication in his current role within the Program/Construction Management Services Industry. Michael’s strengths include effective communication and the ability to listen to and comprehend client needs. He enjoys the opportunity to participate in challenging projects and support clients in their implementation of construction programs. For over the past 20 years Mike has supported his clients in building their visions. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
