Gifts to the Chaffey College Foundation

Gifts made to the Chaffey College Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by current tax laws. The foundation has 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Gifts made to the foundation are processed and acknowledged with a letter and official receipt.

Donors can make gifts to the Chaffey College Foundation that are designated or unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts are used to provide much needed financial assistance to students through The Chaffey College Foundation Scholarship Fund. Gifts that are designated to a particular program, department, or scholarship will be applied as specified by a donor.

Each year the Chaffey College Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students. Since 2020 the Chaffey College Foundation has awarded over 7,664 scholarships, totaling $2,763,241. 

 

Ways to make a gift

Gifts to the Chaffey College Foundation can be made in various forms such as pledges, cash, credit card, stocks and securities, donor advised funds, real estate or in-kind. Donors can also make planned or deferred gifts through wills and trusts. Foundation representatives are available to discuss giving opportunities. Establish a scholarship

The success of students is a major aspect of our mission at Chaffey College. Thanks to the generosity of various donors, the Chaffey College Foundation offers many opportunities for students to achieve their educational and career goals.

Interested community members and others can support Chaffey College students by donating to a scholarship fund, making an annual donation, by establishing or donating to an endowed scholarship or through external scholarships.
