Demetria "Mimi" Richburg is a Vice President at U.S. Bank, where she serves as both
a Community Affairs Manager for Inland Southern California and an Inclusive Growth
Consultant supporting national business strategies. With more than 25 years of experience
in banking and financial services, she specializes in building partnerships that strengthen
communities, drive economic opportunities, and connect business objectives with meaningful
social impact.
In her role, Mimi leads strategic community engagement efforts across the Inland Empire, Coachella Valley, San Gabriel Valley, and Kern County regions. She manages philanthropic investments, nonprofit partnerships, employee volunteerism, and community development initiatives that advance workforce development, affordable housing, small business growth, and financial empowerment. She also advises senior leaders on inclusive growth strategies and helps identify opportunities to expand economic access and business growth in diverse communities.
Prior to her current role, Mimi held leadership positions across branch banking, business banking, operations, human resources, and community engagement. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for developing innovative programs, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and creating strategies that deliver measurable impact for customers, employees, and communities. She played a key role in advancing inclusive growth initiatives at U.S. Bank, including helping design culturally relevant business strategies and community-centered engagement programs.
Mimi has attended and earned degrees from Chaffey College, California State University, Northridge and the University of Redlands. She is passionate about servant leadership and community engagement and has dedicated her time to nonprofit leadership, volunteerism, and advancing opportunities that improve quality of life throughout Southern California.
A proud Southern California resident, Mimi enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three children.
