Janel Ruiz is the Public Affairs Manager for SoCalGas, covering San Bernardino County,
including the cities Adelanto, Chino, Chino Hills, Colton, Fontana, Highland, Loma
Linda, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, San Bernardino and Upland. She
represents SoCalGas to local governments, community organizations, media, and the
community at large.
Janel has been with the So. Cal Gas for 15 years. She is an accomplished leader with proven success in project management, outreach, and operations. She is well-versed in stakeholder engagement and fostering interdepartmental collaboration. In her previous role, she was instrumental in developing and implementing project delivery models resulting in improved efficiency and performance across multiple departments.
Janel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton and a Project Management Certificate from Caltech.
