Harold Brown is a seasoned financial services executive with more than 25 years of
experience in commercial banking, credit administration, business development, and
organizational leadership. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Center
Manager for Citizens Business Bank, where he oversees two commercial banking centers
with more than $400 million in loan commitments and $500 million in deposits. Throughout
his career, Harold has built a reputation for helping businesses grow through sound
financial guidance, strategic lending solutions, and disciplined risk management.
Prior to joining Citizens Business Bank, Harold held senior leadership positions with Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Sanwa Bank. His professional expertise includes commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate financing, SBA lending, portfolio management, treasury management, credit analysis, and team leadership. He has extensive experience managing large lending portfolios, developing business relationships, mentoring banking professionals, and overseeing complex financial transactions.
Harold is equally committed to serving his community through nonprofit and civic leadership. He currently serves as Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Whittier, a role he has held for the past four years. In this capacity, he provides financial oversight, budget review, fiscal stewardship, and strategic guidance to support the organization's mission of empowering youth and strengthening communities.
A dedicated advocate for community engagement, Harold has served on the Boards of Directors of the Alhambra, Pico Rivera, and Baldwin Park Chambers of Commerce. He remains an active member of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce and has worked throughout his career to foster partnerships between businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations.
Harold has also been an active member of Rotary International through the Baldwin Park and San Gabriel Rotary Clubs, supporting service projects and charitable initiatives focused on improving the quality of life in local communities.
Passionate about education and financial empowerment, Harold has volunteered his time teaching financial literacy to elementary and high school students, helping young people develop essential skills in budgeting, saving, responsible borrowing, and personal financial management. He believes education is one of the most effective pathways to economic opportunity and community advancement.
Harold earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
