Eren Cello is a seasoned MarComm professional with 18-years of demonstrated experience
in the Marketing and Communications sector. Eight of the most recent years have been
dedicated to Ontario International Airport (ONT). Mrs. Cello has been an instrumental
figure in successfully re-branding the international airport after its transition
to local control, and has established a successful airport advertising campaign that
as of 2025 has generated over $100-million in revenue to ONT’s airline partners (and
counting!).
Born in Pasadena and raised in Ontario, Eren's commitment to her community runs deep. With a profound passion for the Inland Empire, she endeavors to raise awareness and foster a cultlike affection for the region. Her professional roots remain in Ontario, where she was raised and where her daughters were born, and further fuel her dedication to its growth and prosperity.
Eren's educational background is rooted in So Cal – she started her college journey by attending Citrus College where she earned her AA in Communications, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from California State University at Fullerton, and a Master's degree in Communications Management from the prestigious University of Southern California. Most recently, Eren has been accepted into the world renowned Executive PhD program at Claremont Graduate University where she endeavors to focus on leadership principles that can be applied in the aviation sector. Her academic background has been instrumental in shaping her strategic approach towards her work and all MarComm-led initiatives at ONT. Eren's professional journey has been diverse; comprised of roles in various sectors including owning her own MarComm agency, work in non-profit organizations, utility sector, healthcare and now in aviation. Her versatility and adaptability have been key assets in navigating the intricacies of different industries, and in her ability to set a strong and strategic foundation for her division at ONT.
Beyond her professional achievements, Eren cherishes her role as a devoted wife to her Junior-High-School sweetheart, with whom she has shared 15-years of unwavering companionship. Together, they are proud parents to two daughters who embody their love and commitment to family, and to serving others. With a younger sister, brother, and a household bustling with pets, Eren's life is rich with family, tons of affection and wagging tails.
As a first-generation daughter of immigrants from Cuba and Mexico, Eren learned the values of hard work and resilience from her parents.
