Celebrating Student Creativity

The Chaffey Review, our student-produced literary and artistic journal at Chaffey College, provides a platform for artists to express and celebrate their voices. Each spring semester, The Chaffey Review is brought to life by students in English 35, who engage in every step of the publication process. Our journal embraces various styles and perspectives, showcasing fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, visual art, photography, scripts, comics, performing arts, music, and other innovative mediums. After the semester, the publication is unveiled and celebrated with students, faculty, staff, and the broader community during an in-person launch event.

For the Spring 2027 semester, we have something special planned! Thanks to funding from the California Teachers Association’s Institute for Teaching, we will publish the first-ever collaboration between Chaffey students on our Rancho campus and students inside the California Institute for Men. We call this project the Chaffey Review’s Inside/Outside Literary Journal and Festival, and we welcome submission from anyone who wants to be part of this special iteration of a beloved classic.

Submissions will close on January 29, 2027 at 11:59pm. We look forward to reviewing your work.
