Sustainability Support: Fresh & Natural Food Group

Fresh & Natural Food Service Group began serving food at the Chaffey College dining commons in fall 2018. The company values health, nutrition and environmental conservation. The company’s policies align with Chaffey’s sustainability initiatives in the following ways:

• The company purchases fresh products from the local community
• Fresh and Natural practices recycling, food composting, and energy and water conservation
• The company provides 100 percent recyclable and/or biodegradable food containers and utensils
• Employees use green sanitation chemicals
• The company hires from within the local community, which lessens the environmental impacts of travel and supports the local economy
• Fresh and Natural offers heart healthy, nutritionally-sound food and beverage offerings, as well as various signature food concepts including “Meatless Mondays!” and daily vegetarian and vegan options
