HENRY SHANNON: Hello.
My name is Henry Shannon,
Superintendent President
of Chaffey College.
Hope you and your family
are staying healthy
during this very challenging
time with COVID-19.
Chaffey College has been
here since 1883.
We've been through wars and
depressions and recessions.
And COVID-19 is
something that we
will meet the challenge because
that's the Chaffey College way.
I want to take this
opportunity to offer
some words of encouragement.
First, students.
Thank you.
Thank you for
sticking with us through
this very challenging
time of COVID-19.
I have the faith
that you will finish
the spring semester strong.
No virus, no virus can stand
in the way of your goals.
And we hope that you will
stay the course with us
through the fall.
To the wonderful faculty and
staff at Chaffey College.
As you know, that
Chaffey College vision
is to improve lives
through education.
You've done an outstanding
job of staying focused
on our mission.
Even though the
challenge of COVID-19
has been in front of you and
in front of us our priority,
no matter the circumstances,
is to serve our students
and serve them very well.
I thank you whole heartedly
for the hard work and patience
that you have demonstrated
through this time.
And you will continue
in the coming months.
I look forward to seeing all
of you back on campus soon.
Go Panthers.
