Curated by Roman Stollenwerk
Monday, October 20 - Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Reception: Wednesday, October 22, 2008, 6-8pm
We are surrounded by forces that guide society. While some are seemingly benign, these systems and codes nevertheless influence the way we view the world and experience life. Infrastructure is an exhibition of artists that engage with the silent forces that shape our perception of the world and with the meaning that gets overlooked, lost or intentionally hidden in representation.
Infrastructure will feature the work of Robert Alderette, Matthew Bryant, Enrique Castrejon, Hollis Cooper, Andres Janacua, Jed Lind, Rachel Lachowicz, Jean Lowe, Rachel Mason, Richard Metzgar, Joey Lehmann Morris, Christian Mounger, Joe Suzuki and Ryan Taber.
