Program Description

The Theatre Arts program provides students with both the theory and practical experience necessary for either employment in beginning levels of professional theatre or transfer to a theatre arts major in a four-year institution. Various productions are offered to provide students with a broad range of practical training.

AUDITIONS

BATBOY: THE MUSICAL
 Directed by Christa Havenhill

AUGUST 26 & 27
7:00pm
Chaffey College Theatre (TA-05)

 Prepare a brief song that shows your personality. (Approx. 32 bars) CD background tracks or sheet music are acceptable. No accapella singing. Accompanist will be provided. Also be prepared to cold read from the script and learn a movement combination. Wear clothes and shoes that you can move in.

Callback will be held on Thursday, August 28th.
Rehearsals will begin Tuesday, September 2nd and rehearse M-TH 7-10pm
Performances run October 23– November 1 including Halloween!

All cast will enroll in Theatre 50 or 51 for 3 units.
Seeking a cast of 20 performers and multiple stage techs/crew members.
