Salsa Challenge

Participate in the Inaugural 50 Yard Line Salsa Challenge by either making your own salsa or being a taster.

Salsa Challenge contestants must make at least 1 gallon of salsa (1 pint to be used for judging).

Tailgate guests will be able to purchase tasting kits for $1 to sample salsa and cast their vote for the "Fan's Favorite". Winner based on highest number of valid ballots cast.

Salsa will be judged by a qualified panel of judges. Salsa will be judged on aroma, consistency, color, appropriate heat level, taste and after-taste.

Contestants must being all equipment necessary for preparing and storing their salsa, including ice-chest, spoons, container, etc. Chips and salsa cups will be provided for all contestants.

Entry deadline is Friday, October 16th.

All Salsa Challenge contestants must be checked-in by 2:30 pm.

Winners will be announced at game halftime.
