Faculty Resources

Because reading, writing and mathematics are essential skills for every classroom, we help students across the curriculum to clarify, organize and express ideas, information, and numbers. We also help faculty through referrals, orientations, consultations, and test proctoring.

Orientations

Success Center orientations are available at the start of each semester to familiarize students and instructors with the academic resources and services that the Success Centers provide. To make an appointment for a Success Center orientation, please fill out the Orientation Request Form and return it to a Success Center staff member.

Tutoring

If students in your class need one-on-one tutoring on a assignment or in a specific skill area, i.e., writing an essay or reading a difficult text, please refer them to one of the Chaffey College Success Centers. Referrals can make a tutoring session more effective by providing tutors with specific learning objectives.

Workshops

Proctoring

Test proctoring is another service that is available at Chaffey College Success Centers. Instructors should submit an Accommodations for Testing Form at the front desk when leaving a copy of an exam for a student.
