Summer Cooperative Education in South Africa June 30 to July 18, 2008 The Chaffey College Sociology Department will be offering an extraordinary month long study program in South Africa. Students will study African life and culture in Cape Town and Stellenbosch. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in service learning projects in the nearby Kayamandi Township. Projects include tutoring at a local schools, working at a children's hospice, playing and coaching sports with children, and building homes and community facilities in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
