THE SUPERINTENDENT/PRESIDENT  This is an exciting time to be a part of the Chaffey College community. The college is continuing the process of rebuilding and expanding academic opportunities on the Rancho campus, while expanding our presence in Fontana and Chino. I invite you to tour the newest buildings in the science complex, Student Services/Administration, the Don Berz Excellence Center and the newly renovated Physical Health Life Science facilities. I am pleased to announce the opening of the main instructional building on the new Chino campus. At the start of the fall 2008 semester enrollment on the Chino campus increased 33%. In the spring 2008, construction started on the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Rancho campus. Also this year, the Governing Board approved Fontana Phase III providing additional educational opportunities to students in the community of Fontana. This winter, the Chaffey College Health Science Center and Community Center are scheduled to open on the new Chino Campus. Chaffey College remains committed to serving our students and community through high-quality, comprehensive programs that meet their needs presently and in the future. We are continuing to build and upgrade our facilities to support the students and this wonderful community. So, whether you are a student at one of our campuses or even online, I encourage you to utilize the comprehensive services and support available to you to enhance your academic success. Finally, I invite you to join our growing number of students to accomplish your goals - whether they include obtaining an associate's degree or certificate, transferring to a university, or engaging in work-related skill activities.
