65B Calculus II
(4) [Cx] Class hours: 4 lecture.

Prerequisite: Mathematics 65A or equivalent with a minimum grade of C.

Transfer Credit: CSU; UC.

(CAN MATH 20)

(CAN MATH SEQ B = MATH 65A + 65B)

(CAN MATH SEQ C = MATH 65A + 658+ 75)

Applications of the definite integral including area, volume, arc length, surfaces of revolution, work, and centroids of planar regions; differentiation and integration involving hyperbolic, inverse trigonometric and inverse hyperbolic functions; techniques of integration; indeterminate forms and improper integrals; infinite series; conic sections; polar coordinates and parametric equations. A TI85/86 graphing calculator is required for the course.
