31 Plane Trigonometry
(4) Class hours: 4 lecture.
Prerequisite: Mathematics 25 and 412 or
equivalent with a minimum grade of C.
Transfer
Credit: CSU. (CAN MATH 8)
Trigonometric
functions including definitions of the circular
functions: radian measure, graphs, inverse
trigonometric functions, trigonometric
equations, and identities, solution of right and
oblique triangles, applications, vectors,
complex numbers, polar coordinates and graphs,
equations of tonics, and rotation of axes. The
TI85 graphing calculator will be used.
