Chaffey College International Student Office Application Requirements International students are encouraged to apply as far in advance of the desired entry date as possible also allow sufficient time for application processing and other arrangements. Please provide all required documents. Upon receipt of all documents, you will be notified by mail of your acceptance to the college. What to Include

Please be sure to complete and return both the Chaffey College Application for Admission and International Student Application forms. These forms may be viewed, downloaded, and printed from our web site by clicking on the appropriate links. If you have difficulty with this process, printed forms are available by mail from the International Student Office. Thank you! Proof of English Proficiency In order to be directly accepted to Chaffey College, international students must show proof of English proficiency. Provide one of the following:
International students may enroll in the Chaffey College International Program of English as a Second language and complete intensive language training which will prepare them for the TOEFL exam and placement into college courses. Financial Verification Provide a bank statement or letter from an American bank verifying $16,000 are available to cover tuition, fees and living expenses for a one-year period. If parents, sponsor, etc. are in the U.S., proof of financial responsibility (Affidavit of Support --INS Form I-134) must be completed and notarized. INS Form I-134 is available in the International Student Office. Copy of Valid Passport A copy of a valid passport that shows name, picture, and date of birth is required. Provide a birth certificate if you do not have a passport. Photograph A passport-size photo should be attached at the top right-hand corner of the International Student Application form (International Student F-1 Visa Information form). Tuberculosis (TB) Test Proof of recent TB Test (within the past year) is required. NOTE: Testing is available at the Chaffey College Student Health Center for the fee of $5.00. Students will not be allowed to attend classes without proof of TB test. (Arranged by the International Student Office) Medical Insurance International students already possessing a medical insurance policy must show proof of the plan (in English) prior to enrollment. If an international student does not have medical insurance, an amount of $888.00 will be assessed at the time of registration, or the student may choose to pay by semester. The medical insurance fee of $888.00 will be for one year of coverage and id provided by Canter Insurance Agency.
