Chaffey College International Student Office Academic Transfer Programs The academic year is divided into two 18-week sessions with the Fall semester beginning in August and the Spring semester beginning in January. There are also short term courses available during the Fall and Spring semesters as well as 6 or 8 week summer sessions. Chaffey College offers Associate of Science degrees, Associate of Arts degrees and Certificates in numerous occupational programs. Academic advising prepares international students for transfer programs that assure their access to upper-division education at the University of California, the California State University, and other renowned private universities. Take your first two years of courses at Chaffey College and then transfer into the college or university of your choice for your last two years. English Program Chaffey College provides an excellent comprehensive academic semester program of English as a Second Language. In addition, the college also offers intensive short-term English language training. Small classes, excellent instructors and learning facilities, free tutoring and media-assisted individual instruction enable students to improve their English language skills, successfully complete college courses and prepare for university transfer. We provide conversational English training, TOEFL preparation and customized English immersion programs. All classes are designed to assist international students improve their reading, writing, pronunciation, listening and speaking skills. |
