Chaffey College 130 Year Anniversary

130 year celebration
date_strip

Chaffey College is celebrating a milestone - 130 years of educational excellence. Throughout the year college officials will host various events commemorating the college's anniversary.

Chaffey College opened through a vision of George and William Chaffey in 1883 as the Chaffey College School of Agriculture under the University of Southern California. The Chaffey brothers' vision is similar to the vision of community colleges today; to provide an educated workforce.

When Chaffey College opened in 1883, the student enrollment included 15 individuals and 2 faculty members. Today, the college has a student enrollment of 18,047 students in over 100 disciplines on three campuses.

Over the past 130 years, Chaffey College has become one of the most respected community college colleges in the state, while being more proud of our accomplishments and contributions to the community. For 130 years, Chaffey College has been providing quality education at an exceptional value for the residents of the Inland Valley.

To recognize Chaffey College's 130th Anniversary, college officials have planned various events for the community to enjoy. We invite everyone to "Celebrate 130" at Chaffey College.
