WHAT IS ALTERNATE MEDIA?

Alternate Media is any instructionally related material which is converted or altered from its original state so it is accessible and usable by people with disabilities. This may include, but is not limited to, Braille, ASCII text, large print, recorded audio, electronic text formats and video captioning.

WHAT IS AN ALTERNATE MEDIA ACCESS COORDINATOR?

The Alternate Media Access Coordinator is an individual who assists the Director, DPS and the Coordinator, DPS in technology related activities enabling course work to be accessible to students with disabilities.
