The 2008/2009 Chaffey Dance Team Auditions will take place on April 19, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Earl Sicosky Gymnasium at Chaffey College.
AUDITION PROCESS
BRING A PICTURE AND RESUME
DRESS IN FITTED DANCE ATTIRE
LOOK YOUR BEST
You will need to include any previous dance performance or dance training on your resume (I will look at your experience), a head shot is fine or just a snap shot (to put a name to a face), don't spend lots of money. The audition will consist of everyone learning choreography together, then performing in smaller groups, you will be judged on how well you pick up choreography, your performance quality, as well as, your dance technique and execution. There will also be a short interview section, so I can see your communication skills.
The Chaffey College Dance Team performs at all home basketball
and football games,as well as rallies, special show events, and fundraising activities. The team performs a variety of dance styles, including, but not limited to jazz, hip-hop, character and pom. All of which are appropriate for sports entertainment in a family oriented environment. For information, please contact Edana Garrett at 909/652-7009.
