Overview

With the issuance of the first $47.7 million in construction bonds, Chaffey College began the first phase in the Capitol Improvement Project – Facilities Master Plan. The Facilities Master Plan is funded by a general obligation bond, Measure L, passed by voters in the Chaffey Community College District on March 5, 2002. The bond authorizes the college to issue up to $230 million in bonds during a 10 year period. A Citizen’s Oversight Committee meets each quarter to review the financial status and the construction progress. The Chaffey College Facilities Master Plan consists of new construction, infrastructure repair, renovation and upgrades to existing facilities, and procurement of educational equipment. The Capital Improvement Program has made significant progress. This is a summary of the completed projects and construction in progress.
