The women's soccer team hosted Desert Friday, earning the first win for the 2009 Foothill Conference season, 8-0. Scoring for the Panthers were Brandy Patterson with 3 goals, Christine Lenze with 2 goals and Alex Chavez, Bianca Garcia and Courtney Miller with 1 goal each. Goalkeeper was Bianca Velasco with 2 saves. The women play at San Bernardino Valley on Tuesday.

The women's soccer team hosted Oxnard yesterday, earning another tie for the 2009 scoreboard. Scoring for the Panthers were Krystina Aguilera (assisted by Alex Chavez) and Brandy Patterson. Goalkeeper was Bianca Velasco with 4 saves. The women play their final preseason game Wednesday against ELAC at home.

The women's soccer team has had a rough week, adding two more losses to the board. Tuesday, the team traveled to Cypress leaving with a 2-0 loss and then fell to Santa Ana Friday 3-2. Scoring for the women on Friday were Christine Lenze and Brandy Patterson. The women will try again today at home against Taft.

The women's soccer team has had a rough start this season, adding two more losses to the board. Friday, the team traveled to Canyons leaving with a 2-1 loss and then fell to Fullerton yesterday 3-5. The women will try again today at Cypress (3 pm).

The men's and women's soccer teams hosted El Camino College in the first games of the 2009 season. Despite the heat, fans cheered the Panthers on. The women lost to ECC 3-0. Goal Keeper, Bianca Velasco played the complete game and had 2 saves. The men opened the season with a win (3-0). Scoring for Panthers were Andre Esquivel (assisted by Josh Salas), Orlando Murillo (assisted by Ernesto Ramos) and Ernesto Ramos (assisted by Abel Rodriguez).Chaffey's Goalkeeper was Brent Gonzales who played all 90 minutes and had 4 saves. The men play again at home on Monday against Cypress. The women play again on Tuesday against Miramar (also at home). Both games are at 4 pm.

The women took on the first place Wolverines yesterday in the final game of the 2008 season, shutting them out 1-0. Scoring the sole goal of the game was Summer McCaleb, assisted by Yvette Salas Defending the goal was Andrea Gutierrez with 7 saves.

The women took on Rio Hondo yesterday afternoon, winning 1-0. Alex Chavez scored the single goal for the Panthers assisted by Nikki Contreras. Defending the goal was Andrea Gutierrez with 5 saves. The women host San Bernardino in the final game of the conference season today at 3 pm.

The women took on the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles and emerged with their 7th shut out win of the season. Leading the Panthers was Alex Chavez with 2 goals (assisted by Lisette Carmona and Krystina Aguillera. The final goal was scored by Summer McCaleb (assisted by Lisette Carmona). Defending the goal was Anne Marie Tahramanis with 2 saves. The women are now 5-3-1 in conference and take on Victor Valley today at home.

The women traveled to Desert last Friday, shutting out the Roadrunners 6-0. Leading the Panthers on offense was Alex Chavez with 3 goals and 1 assist. Also scoring were Lisette Carmona, Yvette Salas and Marissa Kearney. Defending the goal was Samantha Garvin with 4 saves in the 90 minute game. The women are at home tomorrow against Antelope Valley.
The women hosted the Antelope Valley Marauders Tuesday and were shut out 2-0. Defending the goal was Samantha Garvin with 4 saves in the 90 minute game. The women are away Friday against Mt. San Jacinto.

The women were defeated by San Bernardino Valley College Friday 1-0. Valiantly defending the goal was Samantha Garvin with 10 saves. The team has a bye this week and then travels Friday to College of the Desert.

The women defeated the visiting Rio Hondo Roadrunners Tuesday to take their conference record to 3-1-1. Leading the Panthers were Anne Marie Tahramanis and Lissette Carmona with one goal each. Defending the goal were Andrea Gutierrez and Samantha Garvin. The team travels Friday to San Bernardino Valley.

Despite rocky pre-conference play, the women’s soccer team has started the Foothill Conference season in fine form winning 2 of 3 games in the past week. The first win came with a 5-0 win over Desert, then a close 1-0 loss to powerhouse Antelope Valley and then Tuesday’s win over the San Jacinto Eagles. Samantha Garvin has lead the defense at goalie and is #10 in the state with 16 saves in 1195 minutes of play. Conference play continues Friday at Victor Valley.

The women hosted College of the Desert yesterday afternoon in the conference opener for the 08 season, shutting out the Roadrunners 5-0. Scoring for the Panthers was Nikki Contreras, Yvette Salas, Cynthia Alcantar, Alex Chavez and AnneMarie Tahramanis. Defending the goal was Sam Garvin with 4 saves. The team plays again on Friday at Antelope Valley.

One game remains for the women before starting the conference season against College of the Desert on September 30th. This week the women struggled with 1 win and 1 loss. Yesterday, the women took on El Camino and lost 3-2. The final pre-conference game is Wednesday against Mt. SAC.

The women remain in 2nd place in the Foothill Conference behind Victor Valley (6-0-1). With a 5-0-3 record, the Panthers continue to dominate the field at home and away. The team has a bye this week and then resumes play Tuesday at Victor Valley for what is sure to be an exciting battle between two undefeated teams for the first place position in the Foothill Conference.

The women remain in 2nd place in the Foothill Conference behind undefeated Victor Valley. With a 3-0-3 record, the Panthers are set going into Friday’s contest against Rio Hondo at home. The Roadrunners are in 5th place with a 1-4-0 record.
Candice Jenkins, who has defended the goal in every match this season is #1 in conference and #13 in state with 113 saves and a goal against average of .7500. Brandy Patterson is ranked #12 in the state and #1 in conference with 14 goals and 8 assists this season. Anne Marie Tahramanis is ranked #2 in conference with 13 goals and 5 assists.

The women remain in 2nd place in the Foothill Conference behind undefeated Victor Valley. With a 2-0-2 record, the Panthers are set going into Friday’s contest against San Bernardino Valley at home. The Wolverines are in 3rd place with a 2-1-0 record.

The women continue to charge ahead in pre-conference play – dominating Oxnard 9-0 Tuesday. The first goal of the game, scored by Anne Marie Tahramanis happened as fans were still getting settled in the bleachers at game start! The team begins conference play against Mt. San Jacinto Friday at home. The Eagles come into Friday’s game 4-1-1 in pre conference play.

The women suffered their first loss of the year Monday against El Camino College (4-0) at home. That takes the team to 6-1-1 for the 07 season. The women will try to turn it around today at Fullerton – 4 pm.

Only weeks into the 2007 season, the women’s soccer team is setting the bar high for the competition. With conference play still two weeks away, the women are 5-0-1 after a 6-0 win Tuesday at LA Mission College. Candice Jenkins has averaged 8 saves per game, goal keeping at every match. The team takes on LA Harbor at home Friday.

Women’s soccer has had a strong first week of play with 3 wins and 1 tie. The women faced off against Irvine Valley at home on the 31st and walked away with an 8-0 win. Yesterday, the women tied Pasadena at home 1-1. The team travels tomorrow to Glendale for a game at 5 pm.

Women’s soccer started their fall season this week with a game at College of the Canyons. The women won 3-0 with 2 goals by Brandy Patterson and one by Ann Marie Tahramanis. Goal keeper was Candice Jenkins with 4 saves. The women play at home Thursday against East Los Angeles College at 4 pm and against Irvine Valley Friday at 1 pm.
