Coaching Staff  Jimmy Rodriguez Head Coach, Softball Jimmy Rodriguez has coached at both the high school and university levels. Most recently he was at Cal Baptist University for three years (2001-2003). Coach Rod’s head coaching career started in 1992 at Jurupa Valley High School in Mira Loma. In eight years his teams won the Mt. View League title twice ’92 (co-champions) and ‘98 and were C.I.F. Academic Champions in ’98 and ‘99. He was named Mt. View Coach of the Year when they won the league championships, and for two consecutive years, (97,98) was chosen Riverside County Coach of the Year. Coach Rodriguez left the high school ranks with 121 wins and earned five playoff appearances, reaching the semi-finals twice. Coach Jim Rodriguez completed his undergraduate education at UCLA with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, has a Masters of Science Degree in Education, and a Masters of Science Degree in Administration. Coach Rodriguez has been inducted into the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame this fall for his contribution to sports and the community.  Nicole Wright Assistant Coach |
