PANTHERS FINISH SEASON WITH A WIN OVER BARSTOW (4/29/13)
The men hosted Barstow Friday afternoon, finishing the 2013 season with a 9-3 win over Barstow. Sophomore pitcher Richard Plascencia earned his 8th win of the season. The Cats finish the season 12-12 in conference and 20-16 overall. |
CATS STRUGGLE AGAINST SBVC - DROP 3RD STRAIGHT (4/22/13)
The men took on San Bernardino Valley last week - finishing the series 0-3. The men take on Barstow this week in the final games of the 2013 regular season. |
PANTHERS PULL OUT WIN IN GAME THREE AGAINST RIO HONDO (4/15/13)
The men were struggling this week, first falling to Cerro Coso last Saturday then twice to Rio Hondo this week. Saturday, the men once again took on the Roadrunners, pulling off an 8-4 win at home. This week, the Panthers take on Foothill Conference first place San Bernardino Valley. SBVC was 2-1 last week against Barstow. |
PANTHERS FALL TO RIO HONDO (4/10/13)
The men hosted Rio Hondo yesterday, falling to the Roadrunners 6-3. Rio took an early 2-0 lead but it was four runs in the 8th inning that capped the game for the Panthers. The men continue the series with Rio Hondo tomorrow. |

CATS SHUT OUT CERRO COSO 12-0 (4/5/13)
The men hosted Cerro Coso, defeating the Coyotes 12-0. Diego Ibarra earned his third win this season giving up two hits in eight innnings. Rightfielder Mason Shiflett led the Panthers in scoring with three runs and two hits. Andrew Dorado had 4 RBIs off two hits and Micah Grove homered earning him 2 RBIs. The men take on Cerro Coso again tomorrow. The game will be broadcast online at www.coyote395.com. |
PANTHERS TAKE DOWN CERRO COSO 10-6 (4/4/13)
The Cats rolled through Ridgecrest Tuesday, defeating Cerro Coso 10-6 and earning freshman pitcher Richard Plascencia his sixth win of the season. Trevor Williams led the Panthers with 2 runs, 2 hits including a triple in the 3rd and 2 RBIs. The teams continue the three-game series today at home. |

PANTHERS TAKE 2-GAME SERIES AGAINST GOLDEN WEST (3/29/13)
The men completed a 2-game series against the Golden West Rustlers yesterday with a 8-7 win in 11 innings. Earlier in the week, the Panthers defeated GWC 6-2, earning freshman Brendan Honung his second win of the season. Yesterday, the men led by 4 going into the 9th but a 5 run rally by the Rustlers (followed by a Titus Carlson run in the bottom of the inning) took the teams into extra innings. In the bottom of the 11th Trevor Williams singled, bringing in Derek Van Billiard for the win. The men resume conference play Tuesday at Cerro Coso. |
CATS 2-1 OVER SPRING BREAK (3/25/13)
The men took on Desert last week, defeating the Roadrunners twice 10-2 before falling Saturday 8-4. The men take on Golden West tomorrow and Thursday in non-conference play. |

PANTHERS PULL OUT WIN AT HOME YESTERDAY (3/15/13)
The Cats took on Mt San Jacinto again yesterday but with a completely different outcome. Where Tuesday's game saw 18 combined runs - yesterday the sole run of the game was scored by Ryan Lemus in the bottom of the 3rd. Diego Ibarra earned his first win of the season - giving up only 3 hits in 8 innings. Tyler Campbell earned the save. The men finish the three game series Saturday at San Jacinto. |

PANTHERS STRUGGLE WITH MT SAN JACINTO (3/14/13)
The men began the three-game series against Mt San Jacinto with a 10-8 loss. The men led through the 5th when a 3 run inning tied the game following by a 4 run rally in the 6th by the Eagles taking the score to 9-5. The Panthers scored the final 3 in the top of the 7th but it wasn't enough to hold back the Eagles. First baseman Andrew Dorado led hte Panthers in scoring with 3 runs. The men continue the series today at home. |

The men hosted Antelope Valley yesterday afternoon in a makeup game from Saturday's rain out - falling to the Marauders 12-1. Second baseman Kyle Jackson earned the sole run for the Panthers on a 5th inning fielders' choice by shortstop Ryan Goodman. The men continue conference play today at Mt San Jacinto. |

PANTHERS SUFFER FIRST CONFERENCE LOSS (3/8/13)
The Panthers lost their first conference game yesterday at the hands of the AVC Marauders 6-11. Leftfielder Isaiah Delsi had two runs to lead the Panthers in scoring. David Kretschmar earned the loss giving up 7 runs in three innings. The teams were scheduled to play the final game of the series tomorrow, but that has been rescheduled to Monday due to field conditions after last night's rain. |

The Cats hosted Antelope Valley yesterday afternoon for the 1st of the 3-game conference series, defeating the Marauders 4-17. Freshman centerfielder Trevor Williams led the team with 4 runs, 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Richard Plascencia earned the win, pitching the first five innings. The men continue the series Thursday in Lancaster. |

The men completed the 3-game series against Victor Valley Saturday with a third win; remaining undefeated in the conference. Daniel Pena earned his 2nd win for the season; Bowker, Cisneros and Campell all held the Rams scoreless for the remaining 6 innings of play. Isaiah Delsi had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Cats. The team continues conference play this week with three games against Antelope Valley. The Marauders are 2-4 in conference with losses to Barstow and San Bernardino Valley. |

The Panthers hosted Victor Valley yesterday afternoon in the second game of a three-game series against the Rams; winning 4-7. The Panthers are the only undefeated team in the Foothill Conference. Valente Ortega earned his first win of the season; pitching the final 4 innings of the game and holding the Rams scoreless. Shortstop Ryan Goodman led the Panthers with 2 runs, 1 RBI. Trevor Williams had 1 run and 2 RBIs. The men continue the series Saturday at VVC. |

The men opened the 2013 Foothill Conference season yesterday on the road at Victor Valley - beating the Rams 9-8. Freshman pitcher Eric Geiger earned his first win of the season, giving up only 1 run in 4 innings. Ryan Goodman and Trevor Williams each scored twice for the Panthers. The men host VVC Thursday afternoon. |

The men traveled to El Camino Compton again Saturday, defeating the Tartars 6-3. Freshman Austin Bowker earned his first win this season. Second baseman Kyle Jackson led te team with two runs and three hits. The men open the Foothill Conference season tomorrow against Victor Valley. VVC is 3-9 this season; coming off a three game loss to Barstow last week. |

PANTHERS FALL TO COMPTON IN MOVED GAME (2/22/13)
Rain earlier this week caused the Panthers to move another game from Lowder Field - this time to El Camino Compton. The men fell short against the Tartars scoring only once on a bottom of the 9th homerun by Valiente Ortega. The team takes on Compton again Tuesday on the road. |

PANTHERS DEFEAT SADDLEBACK IN REMATCH (2/22/13)
The men returned to Saddleback Tuesday to avenge their loss last week to the Gauchos - and doing it in a big way, winning 11-3. Trevor Williams led the Panthers with 3 runs. |
CATS FALL TO SADDLEBACK ON THE ROAD (2/19/13)
Friday, the men were on the road to Saddleback, falling to the Gauchos 4-1. Ryan Lemus scored the sole run of the game in the top of the 1st when Chris Joranc reached on a fielder's choice allowing Lemus to advance to third; then scoring on a throwing error. The Cats were unable to score again. The team returns home tomorrow for a rematch with Saddleback. |

The men hosted Southwestern Thursday afternoon, defeating the Jaguars 6-4 in 10 innings. Tyler led the Panthers from the plate, giving up only one hit in 5 innings. With the score tied at 4-4 in the 10th, Ryan Lemus homered bringing in Travis Borgis for the win. The men remain undefeated at home. |

PANTHERS SHUT OUT CITRUS 7-0 (2/8/13)
The weather held out just long enough for the Panthers to score their second win against Citrus this week. The Panthers scored three runs in the top of the thirs and four more in the fourth to stake their 7-0 lead. Pitcher Richard Plascencia (1-1) got his first win of the year with five strong innings. Eric Geiger pitched the final four innings for the Panthers giving up just one hit, walking two, and striking out two en route to a save. If the weather cooperates, the Panthers will play at LA Harbor tomorrow. |

Panther baseball opened the 2013 home season yesterday afternoon, defeating the Citrus College Fighting Owls 8-3. Sophomore rightfielder Ryan Lemus led the Panthers with 3 RBIs, 1 run and 2 hits. The men are at Citrus today. |
