Carlos Alberto Huizar President/Student Trustee
Andre Fagundes Vice-President
Hello Chaffey Students. My name is Andre Fagundes and I am your ASCC Vice President. This will be my second year attending this great institution as I continue to pursue my career in the field of medicine. I am here to represent our diverse student body and will strive to ensure each and every concern a student has will be answered. My goal for this academic year is promoting student life to establish a good balance between academics and social interaction among students. My priority is to be a voice for all. I want to assure every student that we are here for them. I am here as a student, for the students. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and wish you a successful year here at Chaffey College!
David Day President Pro-Tempore
I have been a student at Chaffey College for over three years and have participated in many events on campus from the annual Car show, Trunk or Treat, and Rock the Vote to name a few. I'm sincerely happy to represent the students here at Chaffey College. This should be a spectacular year. Major: Automotive/ Business. Positions held at Chaffey College: Secretary of The Chaffey College Car Club (2009-2010), Vice President of The Chaffey College Car Club (2010-2011), President of Skills USA for Chaffey College (2011 to present), and Student Government Senator (2012-2013).
Adrian T. Quintanar Commissioner of Activities
I offer the warmest of salutations to each Chaffey College student. I am Adrian Thomas Renee Quintanar, and it is with honor and pride that I intend to represent your voice and opinion as a member of the ASCC Senate. As a first time Chaffey College student in the summer of 2010, I was deeply unaware of the resources and opportunities made available to us as students. Through becoming involved with the Spanish Club both as an active member and as President, in addition to becoming a member of the Honors Program, among other activities, I have gained a richer college experience. Every student of Chaffey College is entitled to having this enriched academic experience, but it begins with awareness, and awareness begins with the simple step of asking questions. Though I may not have all the answers, I am more than willing to go above and beyond to get the answers for any of you that approach me with any concerns. Your college experience is what you make of it, thus I would encourage you to not only become an active body on campus, but also an active mind on campus. With that said, now that you are aware of what my face looks like, I invite anyone to join me in the realm of comfort where I am open to sharing more about myself, and most importantly, where I am waiting to listen to you!
Joann Nieves Commissioner of Inter-Club Council

Students deserve every opportunity to excel at Chaffey College and I understand that getting involved in campus life such as activities on campus, clubs and organizations is very important to a successful college experience.
Michelle Bernardino Senator
Greetings Chaffey Students! My name is Michelle Bernardino and I currently serve as one of the senators in ASCC student government. As a previous member and officer of the Spanish Club, I quickly learned that establishing modes of communication and collaboration were key elements to fulfill the club’s goals. With this acquired knowledge, I hope to be a source to you all and become that link of communication to create even stronger ties between student government and its student body. I wholeheartedly believe that a rewarding academic year at Chaffey College is attained in conjunction with being part of the student life on campus, whether it is by attending lectures, discussion panels, plays, or simply being a member of one of the many enthusiastic clubs on campus. I hope to address any of your concerns that may arise in the future in order to make this current academic year enriching for you all!

I’ve been at Chaffey College since fall semester 2011 and a member of ASCC since August 2012. Chaffey College is a wonderful school with beautiful campuses, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a member of ASCC. I was introduced to ASCC by the current president who encouraged me to join. As a member, I will work hard on ventures that will benefit the Chaffey College student body as a whole. My educational plan is to transfer to a tier one university in 2014 to earn a business degree.
Sichen Hernandez-Martinez Senator
Hi everyone! My name is Sichen Hernandez and I would like to welcome you to Chaffey College. I am excited to be one of your ASCC Senators and for what this academic year will bring. I am a third year Psychology Major and have been involved with the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, the Honors Program, and with I.D.E.A.S. at Chaffey College, an AB 540 student support group. I hope to transfer to either USC or UCLA and finish my Bachelor’s Degree. My career goals include: obtaining a PhD in Psychology, becoming a family therapist for mixed families, in this case when there are children of mixed residency status, conducting pioneer research for such families, and breaking down stereotypes about undocumented persons as a professor. Furthermore, I aim to form a scholarship foundation to help others in their educational endeavors. As an AB 540 undocumented students, my main purpose as an ASCC Senator is to be a voice for those students who feel they are not being heard. My ASCC colleagues and I strive to make your college experience the most fulfilling and enjoyable and are here to help you in any way possible. “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” - Nelson Mandela
Daniel Hernandez Senator
