Transcripts

There are four ways you can order official transcripts from Chaffey College:

  • Hard Copy via the MyChaffey Portal
  • eTranscripts via the MyChaffey Portal
  • Electronic PDF (additional charges apply)
  • By Mail or In Person with the Transcript Order Form


Cost:   $5.00 per transcript (first two transcripts are free – Hard Copy only)
$10.00 per transcript for One Day Rush (Hard Copy with order form only)
Processing time:   One (1) business day for Hard Copy or eTranscripts requested through the MyChaffey Portal
5-7 business days for Hard Copy transcripts ordered via the Transcript Order Form
Within minutes for Electronic PDF (additional charges apply)
Payment Options:   Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express
We will accept personal checks with the Transcript Order Form 
We do not accept temporary checks


Hard Copy

Using the MyChaffey Portal – Select “Order Transcripts” from the Self-Service QuickLinks on the student homepage of the MyChaffey portal.  You may then choose to have your transcripts mailed or picked up at any one of our three campuses.  Please allow an additional two (2) business days for pickup at our Chino and Fontana locations.

Using the Transcript Order Form – Complete a Transcript Order Form (link below).  Mail or bring in-person to the Admissions and Records Office at the Rancho Cucamonga campus.  Allow 5-7 business days for regular processing. 

Please Note:  Same-day transcript services are not available at this time.

eTranscripts
eTranscripts can be ordered by following the steps above and selecting the “Mail Transcripts” option.  You will then be given the choice to send your transcripts electronically to participating schools.  To send your transcripts electronically, select the “Electronic Transcript” option and choose the receiving school from the drop-down menu.  Schools not listed are not currently receiving transcripts through the eTranscript program.

Electronic PDF Transcripts (Additional Charges Apply)


Electronic transcripts are available in PDF format through the National Student Clearinghouse and may be ordered by clicking the link below.  This options sends your transcripts within minutes to the receiving school’s email account.  The school will receive a secure link and a randomly generated password to retrieve your transcripts. There will be a delay if your transcript needs to be sent to Chaffey College for additional research.  Your credit card will not be charged until your transcripts are actually sent to the receiving school by National Student Clearinghouse.

Transcript Order Form

Limitations
You must order transcripts via Hard Copy if:

  • You are ordering one of your two free copies
  • You attended Chaffey College prior to 1985

Transcripts will not be processed until all financial or other obligations to Chaffey College have been fulfilled.

Only Chaffey College courses are included; if you have transferred any coursework from another college you will need to request official transcripts through the issuing school.
