October is Disability Awareness Month.  The Museum Gallery is honoring artists with disabilities with an exhibit running from October 23 to November 18 entitled Radiant Spaces/Private Domain: Southern California. Students from the DPS/Learning Development Center prepared and catered the Artist Reception which took place on October 25th. The talented artists expressed themselves in amazing fashion. In the Spring 2006 edition of the Communique, a publication for California Association for Post-Secondary Education & Disability (CAPED), an article submitted by Bonnie Fuller, DPS/LDC Instructor and Sharlene Smith, DPS Director was published.  The article titled “The Culmination of 20 Years: A DPS Program with a Safety Net” chronicles the history and purpose of the Chaffey College DPS Learning Development Center.
