EXPERIENCE:

Bill O’Neil has over 20 years of Industrial Manufacturing experience as a Maintenance Technician performing both mechanical and electrical activities including the following: Troubleshooting industrial electrical controls using an assortment of meters, instruments, software, and equipment; Instrumentation and process control equipment, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC); Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment; and AC & DC drive equipment. As a “Technical Specialist,” he is responsible for helping electrical utility customers recognize potential energy savings through system improvements, with a specialty in pumps and pumping systems.

As an Instructor at Chaffey College in the Industrial Electricity program, Bill’s experience includes: lectures for Programmable Logic Controllers, Troubleshooting, Hydraulic, Instrumentation Process Control, AC / DC Drives, Blueprint Reading, advance labs, and assisting students/trainees performing lab projects to achieve a higher degree of understanding.
