Within approximately three (3) business days after submitting your application, you will receive an email with your Chaffey College student ID number and access to My ChaffeyVIEW.
Transcript Information: Please submit all official AP results and other high school/college transcripts to Admissions and Records. Do not open sealed transcripts! Transcripts must be turned in at least 48 hours prior to meeting with a counselor. Meet with a counselor to fill out appropriate form(s) to clear pre-requisites. Official high school transcripts may be needed for clearing prerequisites. You may still book your appointment for a Chaffey College Orientation without having your transcripts on file, but you will need to submit them as soon as possible.

Attend the Chaffey College Orientation
Your Chaffey College Orientation will prepare you with information to study for the Assessment Test, information on developing a course by course Education Plan with a Counselor, and receive information about student service resources for additional support.
You are required to attend the Chaffey College Orientation before scheduling your Assessment Test.

Complete the Assessment Test
You are required to complete the Chaffey College Orientation before you schedule an Assessment Test. If you have not completed the Chaffey College Orientation please click on the link in step #2.
Complete our math & English Assessment Test to begin at your appropriate skill level. The test is free and will take about 2.5 hours. If you have transcripts from another college, please submit your official transcripts to Admissions and see a Counselor to clear any pre-requisites.

Complete an Education Plan
There are numerous ways to complete an education plan, either through a workshop or one-on-one. Please call the Counseling Department to make an appointment to create your education plan.
If you have not completed your assessment test, please make an appointment by clicking here. If you have already completed your Assessment Test and need an education plan, please call the Counseling Department at (909) 652-6200 (Rancho), (909) 652-7400 (Fontana), or (909) 652-8001 (Chino).
If you have transcripts from another college, you do not sign up for any education plan workshop. Please turn in your official transcripts to the Admissions and Records Department and then call the Counseling Department at 909-652-6200 to make arrangements to see a counselor.
