(Rancho Cucamonga) Chaffey College invites middle and high school students to explore the amazing world of robotics at the 2013 "Robotics Expo" on Saturday, November 16.

The "Robotics Expo" is sponsored by Chaffey College's CTE Community Collaborative Grant and the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office through the Governor's Career Technical Education Initiative (SB70/SB1133).

The Robotics Expo is held on the Chaffey College Rancho Cucamonga Campus in the Sicosky Gym. There are three sessions available 10:00 am-12:00 pm, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, or 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. Participants need only attend one rotation to experience all exhibits.

This is a great opportunity for students in 7th-12th grades to engage in hands-on activities and learn about careers in the field of robotics. Parents are invited to learn along with their students. The "Robotics Expo" is designed to assist students and parents in gaining a greater understanding of technology-driven careers in robotics-related fields.

Exhibits being offered include:

The Chaffey College "Robotics Expo" schedule is designed to engage students with hands-on demonstrations, project creation, and career exploration. Participants are able to register for one of three rotations starting at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, or 2:00 pm.

The Expo is open to all individuals in 7th-12th grades. Students in 7th-9th grades must be accompanied by at least one parent/adult.
