Robert has been with Chaffey College as an Administration of Justice Adjunct Instructor since 2008 and a full time Associate Professor since 2014.

Robert's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Liberal Arts from Regents College, University of the State of New York, Master of Arts (M.A.) in National Security Studies from California State University, San Bernardino, and is currently a doctoral student at Creighton University.

Robert began his aviation and law enforcement career as a Military Policeman in 1981. In 1984 Robert transferred to Fort Rucker, AL to attend Warrant Officer Flight Training. As an army aviator, Robert served on active duty throughout the United States, Central America, and South Korea until 1992 when he transferred to the National Guard as a UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot. In 2002 Robert took a direct commission to Lieutenant and deployed to Iraq in 2004. Upon returning from Iraq, Robert retired from the military with 24 years of total service.

While in the National Guard, Robert joined the Los Angeles Police Department and worked multiple assignments to include patrol, special problems unit, narcotics, staff, and eventually Air Support Division as the Chief Pilot where he retired after 21 years of service.
