Office Occupations and Computer Skills Program

The Chaffey College Employment Development department, in partnership with the San Bernardino County (ESP) Employment Services Program offers on-going training in Office Occupations and Computers Skills Development.

The program is designed to provide qualified students with a robust overview of workplace skills and computer applications training that meet entry level job requirements.  Students are trained in a classroom setting via hands-on application and interactive course work.  

The Office Occupation and Computer Skills training modules include:

Computer Keyboard & Data Entry Skills
  • Microsoft Word 2010
  • Microsoft Excel 2010
  • Business English
Business Math
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Professional Development Skills

Use of standard office equipment
  • Job Placement Assistance
All participating students must successfully complete the full program consisting of 320 training hours.  At the completion of the program, students will earn a Chaffey College Economic and Workforce Development Department Certificate of Completion in Office Occupations.

Student Eligibility Criteria

Cash Aid Recipient
Referral from San Bernardino County ESP
Valid California Driver’s License
Social Security Card
MUST attend on-campus orientation

Training Material

Training materials are provided at NO COST to participants with a qualified referral

Training Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
