ENGLISH/MATH/ESL COURSE PLACEMENT
Chaffey College is in the process of modifying the assessment/course placement process for English and Math courses.
We are excited to share that California State Law AB 705 gives more students the opportunity to enroll directly in transfer-level math and English courses via the placement process.
Placement into math and English courses is no longer conducted through the use of tests.
For placement into ESL courses students must take the Classic Accuplacer ESL Sentence Meaning and ESL Language Use tests.
Option 1 – In person placement (available to all students for English, Math or ESL)
Students can call 909-652-6239 to schedule an appointment for in-person placement at the Chino, Fontana, or Rancho Cucamonga campuses.
