Program Objectives

Through this program you will learn to assist physicians with procedures in a clinical setting, provide care for patients, perform simple laboratory tests, practice injections and venipuncture (phlebotomy), and administer medications. This program includes 160--hours of classroom instruction (including online quizzes and activities) and a 160-hour externship in a medical facility. Program cost includes CPR certification and a national certification examination. Required textbook sold separately.

To register for this program, you are required to participate in an online or in-person information session to ensure you understand the program goals, design, and requirements.

    • June 1, 2019: 10am – 11am
    • June 11, 2019: 6pm – 7pm
    • June 22, 2019: 10am – 11am

Program Cost: $2,499

- Payment is due in full upon registration
Program cost includes CPR certification and a national certification examination. Required textbook sold separately. This program does not result in college credit nor does it meet prerequisite requirements for college credit courses. This program is not eligible for financial aid, fee waivers, or student loans.


Registration will begin on: June 9, 2019. Please click on this link to begin the registration process. You will not have the opportunity to register for the program prior to June 9, 2019. Online registration accepts debit and credit cards only. Cash or check registration payments must be made at the Chaffey College (Rancho Campus) Cashiers Office located on the first floor of the Student Services/Administration (SSA) Building.
