Chaffey College theatre department is proud to present The Velveteen Rabbit an adaptation on the book by Margery Williams

“Once you are Real you can't become unreal again. It lasts for always.”  A stuffed toy rabbit’s quest to become real through the love of a child drives this adaptation of Margery Williams’ timeless tale that celebrates the power of love to transform out lives. Join a boy and his rabbit in a world of strange and wonderful magic with talking toys, wild adventures, and secret burrows, as they come to discover the true meaning of what it is to be Real. Come audition for this classic children’s story of how to find self-worth and acceptance through love. To be REAL.

Nine (9)- Fourteen (14) roles for actors, gender flexible.

Tuesday, November 15 & Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:30pm to 5:00pm via Zoom meeting

Tuesday, January 24 & Thursday January 26, 2023 at 2:30pm to 5:00pm in person in Theatre RM TAE 133

Please prepare a one minute monologue from a children’s book or movie. Monologue must be memorized. Please email Kelly Ford-Kaminski at Kelly.Ford@Chaffey.edu to schedule your audition time. Audition will be held via Zoom. Students auditioning will receive a Zoom invitation for their scheduled time.
