Taking an ESL class first will help you feel more comfortable when taking your English class. It can help you understand assignments better and lead to an improved learning experience.

It is also recommended you meet with a Counselor to discuss your placement and ask any questions you have about taking classes at Chaffey College.

office_hours_logo English Faculty Office Hours – Find out what times your instructors hold office hours and make use of them by dropping in with questions or requests for help. 
library_logo Library – Use the research services or study areas available in the campus library. 
pal_logo Your English class may have a PAL (Peer-Assistants for Learning) or SI Leader (Supplemental Instruction) so attend their sessions if available.
