Writing Contest
The 2006-2007 Writing Contest has ended. Check out the winners below.
Calling all Chaffey College
student writers! The Journalism and Language Arts Departments are
hosting the fourth annual 2006-2007 Writing Contest for current
Chaffey College students. Submissions from the 2006 summer session
will be accepted if the student is currently enrolled at Chaffey
College. Submissions can be entered for three categories: essay,
poetry, and short story. Entries cannot be longer than 1200 words. First place will be awarded $250, and second place will be awarded $50. Prizes will be awarded in May 2007, and winners will be published in The Breeze and on the Writing Center's website. To enter, please submit a recommendation form, a hard copy of your entry, and a Word file to Carla Castellaw in the Writing Center no later than 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007.
