UNIVERSITYOF LA VERNE ON-THE-SPOT ADMIT DAY The University of La Verne is still accepting applications for Fall 2015. On Thursday, April 23 they will be
in the Chaffey Transfer Center evaluating applications for “on-the-spot” admission decisions. Most
students will have an admission decision within minutes and admissible students will walk away with an unofficial financial aid package and a general timeline for obtaining a bachelor’s degree at La Verne. Application fees and recommendation letters will be waived.
To be guaranteed a meeting with a University of La Verne admission counselor, you must sign up for an appointment by calling the Chaffey College Transfer Center at 909.652.6232. Walk-in appointments are only available as time permits.
Students interested in the traditional program (typically younger than 25 year-old) should plan to:
Bring ALL college transcripts (unofficial or official) from any other college they have attended other than Chaffey to your appointment.
E-mail your FAFSA student aid report (SAR) to the La Verne admission officer to dictate an unofficial financial aid package to your appointment.

As a prospective transfer student, it is important to make sure that the community college courses you take are acceptable to the university for transfer credit. ASSIST is California's official statewide repository of transfer information for the California State University and University of California systems. ASSIST offers easy access to a single articulation database; it will help you determine if you will receive credit for courses you have already taken or plan to take and how those courses apply to a specific academic major or general education.
