Become an Apprentice Tutor

The Chaffey College Success
Centers hire a variety of Apprentices each semester.
Apprentices are tutors who are skilled in academic subject areas
such as writing, math, computers, languages or accounting.
All Apprentices undergo training in order to receive College
Reading and Learning Association (CRLA)
training certification. Chaffey College hires two levels of Apprentices as follows:
Apprentice 2 - Tutors who do
not have a BA or BS degree. The hourly rate of pay for an
Apprentice 2 is $10.25/ hour.
Apprentice 4 - Tutors who
have earned a BA or BS degree. The hourly rate of pay for an
Apprentice 4 is $15.00/ hour.
