Success Center Activities
Chaffey College Success Centers don’t just offer
academic support; they also facilitate
curriculum through supplemental instruction as noted in the course
outline.
These activities include the following: directed learning activities, which feature a
strong instructional design element and directly tie to the classroom
experience; workshops taught by faculty; or learning groups designed by
faculty but facilitated by apprentice tutors with degrees. As a
result, these
activities make the Centers an extension of the classroom, rather than
an ancillary support service. In addition, the Centers offer
one-on-one tutoring for any student desiring assistance.
