FALL REGISTRATION

Fall 2008 registration letters for continuing students are scheduled to be mailed after April 18. Priority registration for special groups will begin on Monday, May 5. Registration for continuing students has been scheduled from May 6 to May 29. Continuing students will be able to register on or after the date assigned on the registration letter. Students can also view their registration date on MyChaffeyVIEW under the "What is My Registration?" link.

FUNDRAISER FOR 3 CLUBS

Join Chaffey College students, faculty and staff Thursday, May 15 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Jazz Café (1133 W. 6th St. Ontario) for a Poetry Slam & Jam to benefit the AMAN/AWOMAN Club, Community Awareness Club of the South African Aids Crisis, and the Study Abroad South Africa Club. Tickets are $15 and are available. If you are interested in performing (spoken word artist, poetry readers, and singers) sign up at Student Activities.

Are you transferring in fall 2008? If you have received an offer of admission from a university, the Transfer Center wants to honor you and celebrate your success by inviting you to attend the annual transfer reception. The event will be on Sunday, May 18, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., at Rancho Cucamonga's Central Park at Baseline and Milliken. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

OVER $50,000 AVAILABLE IN SCHOLARSHIPS
The Chaffey College Foundation is offering scholarships to qualified individuals for the 08-09 academic year. Recipients receive a scholarship account card that can be used to purchase books and supplies at the college bookstore, or at the Cashier's Office to pay for any fees or charges related to enrollment. NEW FEE PAYMENT OPTION

Effective Monday, May 5 students will now be able to sign up for a payment plan through FACTS Tuition Management for both Summer and Fall 2008 semesters. FACTS Tuition Management is an interest-free payment plan that students can enroll in with only a $20 non-refundable fee per semester. Students can take advantage of the new service by enrolling at www.chaffey.edu/cashier/facts.shtml.

AUDITION FOR THE '08-'09 DANCE TEAM

ANNUAL STUDENT INVITATIONAL EXHIBITION

Chaffey College and the Wignall Museum proudly present the 31st Annual Student Invitational Exhibition, a juried exhibition featuring ten Chaffey College student artists running April 22 through May 24. In this competitive program, the selected artists present new work in various media. The student artists are also included in all phases of the exhibition process. Artists' Reception: Thursday, April 24 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.; Artists' Walk-through: Thursday, May 1, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

NO MORE ADD/DROP CARDS!

Beginning summer 2008, students will be able to register online for "closed" classes by using an authorization ADD Code provided by the instructor. The ADD Code replaces the ADD/DROP card. The great benefit to students is that they will now be able to register for closed classes online via MyChaffeyVIEW instead of adding in person with an add/drop card.

The Chaffey College Chino Campus Main Instructional Building at College Park opened on March 24, 2008. New classes will begin in Summer 2008.

MAKE LEARNING A FAMILY AFFAIR
The Chaffey College Child Development Center offers a quality preschool program for children of students, and employees at the college. The CDC is a state funded program and fees are determined by family income. Applications are available on the Center web site or at the center on the Rancho Cucamonga campus, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
