Wignall Gallery

Chaffey College and the Wignall Museum are pleased to present Mark Steven Greenfield's Mammygraphs and Ernest Arthur Bryant's Trick Baby from August 25 to September 27, 2008. Both concurrent exhibitions are free and open to the public.

Artists' Talk and Reception
Sept 2, 6-9 pm

Mammygraphs features photographs and sculptural works by artist Mark Steven Greenfield. Using appropriated historic images from the heyday of blackface minstrelsy, Greenfield prompts the viewer to consider the effect this history has on our culture today.

In Trick Baby, artist Ernest Arthur Bryant III uses found clothing remnants, hand painted portraits, graffiti and sewn elements to weave race, politics, pop culture and art history into his mixed-media assemblages.
