CHAFFEY COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE TO SIGN NEW TRANSFER AGREEMENT PROGRAM
he University of La Verne and Chaffey College will hold a signing ceremony to announce a new Transfer Agreement Program (TAP) that will guarantee qualified Chaffey College students admission to the University of La Verne.

The Student Activities Lounge in Campus Center East at Chaffey College, 5885 Haven Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga 91737 Who: University of La Verne President Steve Morgan and Chaffey College President Henry Shannon will sign the agreement. Homa Shabahang, Vice President for Enrollment Management at La Verne, and Ali Rahmani, Vice President for Student Services at Chaffey, will provide the specifics and goals of the agreement. Also scheduled to take part in the program are select Chaffey students who will be continuing their studies at La Verne.
This agreement between La Verne and Chaffey will be of mutual benefit to both. The TAP will facilitate the transfer process for Chaffey students seeking to attend La Verne. It will increase the transfer rate between the two schools, enhance the completion rate of Chaffey students enrolling at La Verne, improve the college-going rate within the local district through joint promotion of the agreement's benefits, and strengthen existing articulation efforts while reinforcing the working relationship between the two institutions.
Members of the media will have an opportunity to discuss aspects of the TAP agreement with administrators from both institutions and students. Still photographers and camera operators are welcome to take advantage of several image opportunities including the formal TAP signing. A light lunch will be provided.
